On the night of September 22, 2022, Everett was just steps away from home after a fun evening with friends. As he walked along 35th & Spring Garden Streets in Philadelphia, only about 200 feet from his apartment, someone he passed on the sidewalk turned around and shot him in the back. No words were exchanged. No confrontation. No reason.

Just a senseless act of violence.

Everett’s life was full of promise, and his loss has left a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew him. His killer is still out there.

We’re sharing his story not only to honor his memory but to ask for your help. Philadelphia Crime Stoppers is offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in Everett’s case.

If you know anything — no matter how small — please come forward. Your tip could bring justice to Everett’s family and help prevent another tragedy.
